"Now, now. A team that works together can overcome the greatest odds." Piped the old man in a moment of curiously deep clarity. The spell was broken almost immediately as he meandered off, asking a random patron about their feelings on blueberry pie. His response was positive.
"Well...if we're listening to ol' Confucius over there now, he might have a point. It was a bitch move not putting your two cents out there when we got our asses beat." He leaned back in his seat, sliding down a ways until he appeared like not much more than a talking head at the table. His manners were clearly non existent. "And both of you, quit running your damn mouths. Find some more productive shit to do."
The waitress came by, already making a note of Jun's usual with only the slightest of nods.

"Something that doesn't smell like week-old poon would be nice," she ordered vaguely, eliciting the smallest snicker from Hyoushou. He placed an order as well, seating himself across from the other two with a plop.
"Maybe she's just got nothing to work with. Prissy bitch ain't got nothing to show for all this shit she's talking," he stated snidely, resting his elbows on the back of his chair smoothly.
"Oh, but you two do. A real lack of sense on display, right there. Just because I had the sense not to attack Grandpa for no reason doesn't mean I can't do anything." She brushed the comment off, crossing her arms on the table and leaning forward. Her slinky hair drooped into her face as she sighed. "The Mizukage wouldn't keep me around if I wasn't doing something useful, you know~"
She grinned her sharp-toothed smirk over at Jun-Sai, as if he was in on some critical bit of information with her. He wasn't.
"Eh?" Hyoushou's eyes narrowed a bit, looking between the two. "What, so the kage's pulling strings for both of you or something? That's some cheap bullshit. This system is fucked."
"Well I'm and extraordinarily talented individual~" Seul-ki sang, tipping her head with a prideful little wiggle. "Jun-Jing just had the good fortune to have come from his father's nutsuck. Can't just drop your kids and leave, right Jun~?"

"Fuck the old man, my skills have nothing to do with him. He's got plenty of failure bastards behind the scenes." Jun grumbled, leaning up against the wall from his lounging position for maximum comfort. For being so angry, he certainly knew how to relax. "The system has always been fucked, but your place in the world is your own to make. Take what you want, and no one gives a shit where you came from."
Munetoshi hummed, taking a sip of tea that...what the fuck, where did he get tea? Who knows, point is that he has it now. "The best tea's are brewed from care, not simply the finest ingredients. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't use the best ingredients, ho ho ho!"
"Arrrghh."
Stupid old man, pissing him off so damn much.
"Anyway, what the hell did you accomplish at the 'academy'? You seem awfully normal to get put with us." Blunt accusation. Damn~

"That's none of your goddamn business." Hyoushou replied just as bluntly, sneering at the other boy. "I'm here, that's all the matters--"
"He killed his siblings and has seriously injured a good handful of his classmates. He has an explosive temper, you know~" Seul-ki cut in, singing out her insider knowledge easily. "He had to be put on a team that could keep him in line and wouldn't be killed so easily--"
"SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH" He cut her off, slamming his fists down on the table with a crash that made the whole little restaurant fall silent for a long moment. The girl just smirked and leaned back, point proven entirely. He realized this and locked up for a moment before sitting back again with a grimace. "It's no one's fucking business. They were too weak to keep up, so it was for the best that they get picked off early."
Seul-ki shrugged.
"Never said there was anything wrong with it. I agree with you."

"I don't rightly give a shit about the people you killed. You're here, so there has to be something worthwhile about you. So we're going to put our bullshit aside, and we're going to make the best of this team." Jun was already contemplating how he could use the situation to further his own ends; Seul-ki was always a wild card, but perhaps Hyoushou could prove a useful ally in taking over this village.
"We can play by the rules for a while, but we're going to take this team places." With any luck they could turn it into something more like a little militia.
How Munetoshi would or could play into this was yet to be seen. It was hard to imagine him turning on the village, but if nothing else, they could at least use him to get as much training and information as possible before he finally kicked the bucket. He seemed oblivious enough for this to work out, but there were those moments of clarity that bothered Jun...
Not that there was any of that going on. The old man had passed the fuck out in his seat several moments earlier. =P

"Someone has something to prove~" Seul-ki smiled, leaning against Jun the tiniest bit.
"Don't we all." Hyoushou grumbled, almost like a mind-reader. Of course, he wasn't the only one who had shit to do and people to show up. They all had something to lose and something to gain from each other. They all probably intended to leech each other for what they could.
"Well let's fucking do it then~!" She clapped her hands together, looking gleeful as their food arrived. "We'll be quite the squad~"

"We'll be the best. There's no other choice." Jun took his portion quickly, raising it a little in a mock toast, though there was a tone to his voice that indicated he'd have no problem in replacing any stragglers.
Munetoshi woke as suddenly as he'd fallen asleep, taking his own meal in exchange for a prolonged discussion about the 'good ol' days' with the waitress, who clearly did not give a shit. At least it kept him occupied.
"Old man. What kind of mission are we taking on first? OLD MAN."
"What? Did you say fishin'?"
"NO. MISSION." RAGE
"Oh! We're escorting the fish, that's what it was. Exporting it to Konoha. I remember when there was nothing there but trees, far as the eye could see."
"Yeah, that was like...a week ago." This was going to be the death of him. It was like some kind of divine test of his patience.

"Wow, that sounds fucking boring and useless. " Seul-ki rolled her eyes, snubbing her nose up at the meal and this mission. Brilliant as they may be though, they were still genin. This would be the kind of work they were put to until they were promoted or truly proved themselves.
"It sounds like bullshit. Why the fuck would some fish need to be protected?" Hyoushou seemed just as snide, if not moreso with the old man off to his side. His old mannerisms were starting to get annoying. "We're supposed to be the best, this is fucking grunt work."

"Then we have to make it important. We'll do the job, take the fish man to market and all that shit. But on the side, we'll do some of our own foot work in the village. If there's one thing I can do, its steal shit. We'll find something of value and bring it back to make our point."
Jun gave each of them a look, attempting to build a plan on the spot based around their strengths. They were playing with some real wild cards here, especially with the old man. He couldn't really tell how much of his job was in simply keeping them in line, and how much was actually in making a name for them.
Munetoshi wasn't going to spill those beans, even if he knew himself anymore.

Hyoushou rolled his eyes at the suggestionNot seeming all that impressed with such a vague notion of creating their own glory. Sneaking around slipping shit out from under people's noses wasn't his style; he'd prefer something in the strain of a full-frontal assault.
"That sounds great and all, but what the fuck would the Leaf have that would be important enough to bring back like that?"
"Their ledger of special ANBU agents," Seul-ki replied easily, seeming more impressed with the beginnings of this plan than their teammate. "Kazuya-san has been suspecting them of infiltration. Producing something like that would be rather impressive, I'm sure."

"Sounds like a good target. The villages store a lot secrets that can tip the balance in someone else's favor. You have to think outside just physical attacks. If we can find a hole in their defense, an all out attack won't even be necessary."
Clearly he was attempting to school the boy who, ironically, was the only one of them who had attended school. But regardless, his raw force could prove useful in certain situations. Every piece had a function, after all.
"Scoring something like that could be enough to get us ranked up immediately. But we can't fuck it up, or we'll get disowned entirely."

"Something like that would be well-concealed and guarded, so that's quite a risk..." Seul-ki leaned back, nibbling at a bit of crusty bread as she stared appraisingly at Hyoushou across the table. "Perhaps if we had some sort of brutish, show-of-force distraction~"
Hyoushou grinned. "I like where this is going now."
"Yes~ We take care of this fish job, all unassuming and innocent, then employ a distraction. Something contained. How good are you at bunshins, Jun-Jing?" She grinned over at him, tossing a bit of bread at his face. "We could start a brawl amongst ourselves, leaving Hyoushou to destroy the village with those clones while you and I sneak off to locate and retrieve the package~"

"Sounds like a plan. Bunshins are no problem at all for me, I can make plenty. We'll stir up a good ruckus and everything should go smoothly. Since we're operating separate from the officials, there shouldn't be any risk of a trail to follow. They won't be expecting anything from a brand new Genin team, guarding some fish seller." Jun took a swig of tea, washing down a fillet of spicy fish as he thought things over. They should be unassuming enough to be unnoticed, but their dynamic would make them formidable.
"We'll make a name for ourselves right out of the gate. This is just step one on the grand scale. I'll have the village under my thumb in no time."

"Pfft, is that our goal?" Hyoushou smirked a bit, but seemed more good-hearted about it than the snarky snort of laughter Seul-ki responded with. "Sounds good to me. Current management feels a little stifling."
"To Jun-Jing killing Kazuya-san, then." Seul-ki raised her glass in a mock toast with a soft snicker. She'd believe it when she saw it, but not a moment sooner. "Good luck~"

Jun played along with the mock toast. She could have her laugh now, but he was serious about following this through. He wasn't going to fall under the shadow of that old bastard all his life.
"Well then. Make sure you guys get everything you need for tomorrow. We can't go in there unprepared if we're going to pull this off." The odds were stacked, but they hand plenty to their advantage. It'd just be a matter of precision...
