Basic Character Info
Name: Hito Asoi aka "Abe" (like Lincoln)
Village: Konohagakure
Rank: Chuunin
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Height: 6'
Weight: 155 lbs
Body Build: Fit, lean, and well defined from intense taijutsu training.
Eyes: Faintly gray-green
Hair: Black, spiky and scraggly. Not terribly long, kind of Naruto-esque perhaps, but enough of a mess to make it seem like more than it is.
Clothing: A typical kind of karate gi, white in its overall color for the top, black on the bottoms, frayed at its edges from use and abuse. On the back of the top in vivid red is the design of the Konoha emblem. Along the legs in the same red are flames; a bit generic for a gung ho fighter, but suitable to Abe's energetic and youthful nature. He wears his headband on his head, like a normal person (lawl), though its hidden somewhat under the wild scramble of hair.
Personality: Energetic, kind of loud, kind, a tad bit naive, playful, and extremely competitive. Abe is what one might expect from your typical young shinobi; full of the 'flame of youth' and inspired to push himself to new heights. His family died while he was young and he was raised by a hermit who lived on the outside of Konoha, practicing techniques that had been passed onto him by his family before him. Taking Abe as his own, he passed the techniques onto him as well, and though his lack of the family blood kept him from inheriting some of the skills, his intensity and drive enabled him to mold the techniques into his own. His rash behavior and longing to prove himself has kept him from becoming a Jounin, though many have already considered his combat skills on par. Until he can learn to be a leader and appropriate risks and gains, he'll be stuck where he is; though rank isn't particularly a concern to him.

Ninjutsu
Earth Style : Gravel Slide - Using a powerful downward kick (usually in the midst of running, like a baseball slide of sorts) Abe can kick up a mass of ground into sharp debris, projecting it in front of him to form a dangerous attack. A secondary followup to the technique can be initiated by performing a sweep in the midst of the attack, causing the gravel projectiles for arc around for more range, as well as effectively shielding Abe from outside attacks.
Combo Style : Violent Dust Blast - Another follow up to the final part of the Gravel Slide technique, Abe can use his Taijutsu abilities from within the self induced earth barrier to create a vicious blast of shrapnel that serves not only as causing a number of minuscule wounds, but serving as a blinding and choking factor as well.
Earth Stlye : Mud Stream - Jutsu that allows Abe to produce an amount of chakra infused mud from his mouth, usable in making barriors, murky traps, or even streams or balls that can be projected as attacks (though admittedly not terribly effectively in that respect).
Taijutsu
Futae no Kiwami : Secret of the Double Layer - is a special art in which the user performs two hits in quick succession with any part of his body. The first punch with the proximal interphalangeal joint neutralizes the hardness of the target, then the second blow, struck with the proximal phalanx, breaks the target before it recovers from the force of the first blow. This technique is the core of all of Abe's fighting; utilized in all forms of attack that involve his hands. There is an important build off of this technique as well, however, that can be considered the second core to his style. XD
*Note: This technique can be used in indirect attacks as well, through the fist or even proper use of the knife Abe carries by striking it into the ground; which can cause a straight shockwave over a distance, or a shorter range shock zone around him excellent for immobilizing an opponent.
Hokori Haretsu Sure : Dust Burst - Abe's personal technique, developed to enhance the ability of the Futae no Kiwami that was passed onto him by his teacher. His trademark technique if anything, this attack is very distinctive. Focusing chakra into his fist, Abe can expel the chakra through his punches in a small burst. The product is what appears to be a 'poof' of blue dust from hand. the effect range of it is, indeed, quite small, and the power of it on its own not particularly effective. The secret comes from utilizing the technique at the end of a Futae no Kiwami. The initial attack causes causes the break, the second attack worsens it with blunt damage, and the final attack, utilizing Abe's chakra, swoops through the broken area and causes it to shatter into pieces from the stress. Extremely useful on breaking objects, but with a solid attack it can break bones in the exact manner.
Goju-Ryu (Naha-te) - Abe's stance and style of fighting. This version of the kata, Higaonna-no-Seisan, is a more complicated version that contains close range fighting techniques such as short-range punches, low kicks and directional changes to unbalance the opponent. Typical of Goju-Ryu it contains slow movements performed under tension, as well as strong fast techniques. Seisan is said to complement Seienchin. Although rooted in the same form, significant differences can be seen in the Goju version compared to the other versions mentioned above.
*Note: The karate kata Seisan (alternate names: Sesan, Seishan, Jusan, Hangetsu) literally means '13', however some people refer to the kata as '13 Hands', '13 Fists', '13 Techniques', or '13 Steps'. Yet, that '13' refers to the 13 killing positions.
Choku-zuki - Straight punch
Gyaku-zuki - Punch with the rear arm
Oi-zuki - Punch with the lead arm
Age-zuki - Rising punch
Ura-zuki - Upside-down fist punch into solar plexus area (short-range)
Tate-zuki - Vertical fist punch into the middle of the chest
Morote-zuki - Augmented punch using both hands
Yama-zuki - Two-level double punch
Mawashi-zuki - Hook punch
Taijutsu Combos
Personal Kata - Omni Sweep
Step One : Double Punch - A basic but important skill to the style of Taijutsu that Abe uses; which relies heavily on punches. This technique actually envelopes a wide variety of uses; its sole purpose is to be able to utilize any combination of the different styles of punches seamlessly from each other. In laymen's terms, after performing any style of punch, Abe can cleanly and flawlessly use a second punch of any kind.
Step Two : Three Ring Circus - A follow up to the Double Punch, Abe utilizes a third punch, used with a twisting motion of the body, and beginning the main progression into the overall combo of the style. A peculiar technique because the twisting motion, which throws Abe off his typical strong stance and balance. This part of the combo is rarely utilized however without the intention for continuing at least one step farther.
Step Three : Four God Destruction - The follow up from the Three Ring Circus, its the first (and one of very few) technique that Abe uses involving a kick. After the twisting motion of the thrid punch, a wide arc kick is delivered, the direction of which is based upon the direct style of the punch. Most often its a reverse attack, where Abe reverses his momentum and delievers a sweeping high kick (another rarity, even in kicks).
Step Four : Five Ring Shattering - The second and last kick to the combo, it builds off the momentum of the Four God Destruction technique, firing off a second, forward thrust kick propelling Abe forward and setting him up for the final technique for the combo.
Final Step : Omni Fate Destruction - The final technique in the combo, building off the Five Ring Shattering, Abe readies himself during his lunching straight kick, pulling his arm back and upon making his landing once more, performs a massive uppercut, utilizing his chakra to manipulate the earth in front of him at the same time, creating a massive rock spire that follows his attack. Shazam bitches.
Goju-Ryu Kata
Genbu : The Black Turtle - One of the Five Kata of Goju-Ryu, Genbu is a simple and powerful style, more defensive than the others. The user's stance is switched up, spreading the legs slightly for a stronger grounding and closing the arms in more for more coverage. Its primary use is for blocking and countering, often in the forms of grabs, throws, and grapples at short range. Aside from his own personal Kata and techniques, this is by far Abe's strongest point in the Goju-Ryu style, thanks to its simplicity and reliance on strength. Brutal throws and slams can be followed up with all out overhead punches that can easily make for a one hit K.O. on an unwary opponent.
Byakko : The White Tiger - The Second level of the Five Kata of Goju-Ryu. The user takes a more aggressive stance, leaned forward somewhat, arms raised in a manner that could be considered similar to a boxer, though wider apart as though welcoming attacks. Quick jabs, misleading feint kicks, and other evasive skills make this Kata difficult to master if a person's mind and body can't keep up with the opponent and work ahead. A number of feint attacks are usually used to mislead an opponent before quick strikes are made to softer, weaker targets, making use of the lesser amount of power being packed per punch. (Targets such as the throat, stomach, joints, etc.) Abe's skill level with this is moderate; he's typically too rash and dense to properly evade and gets too into the fight to properly fake out his enemy. Early into the usage however (before he gets excited that is) it can often lead to quick wounds on the enemy that make it hard to match Abe's brute strength as the match drags on.
Seiryu : The Azure Dragon - Abe has next to no idea how to properly utilize this Kata. A twinge of it appears in his personal Kata, particularly the Three Ring Circus portion, but for now it remains mostly unused.
Suzaku : The Crimson Phoenix - A kicking Kata. Thanks to his epic notveryflexibleitis, this Kata is also highly unused, aside from the practice portions the has thrown into his own Kata. Typically, he finds himself very, very sore the day after he tries to use them.
Tenshi : Heaven and Earth - Considered the ultimate of the Five Kata of Goju-Ryu, it utilizes the user's element affinity along with a variety of techniques, spanning most of the previous Kata. Of course, once Abe learned this, he had to try it, completely skipping the previous Kata to get a taste for the best. His chakra control in terms of elemental use being not the best, he has only learned a few skills that can even remotely be considered successful to the Kata, but can't sustain using them repeatedly before he expends himself. (It is difficult to do both ninjutsu and taijutsu at the same time, afterall). His personal Kata takes advantage of this ideology in its final attack, mostly as a test run, though it seems to have worked out quite well.
