General
Name: Shou Ryuunosuke
Alias(es): Gobi no Ryuunosuke (Ryuunosuke of the Five Tails)
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Specialty: Taijutsu, Mastery of all Elements
Rank: Jounin
Home Village: Kumogakure
Current Village: Kumogakure
Organization: Jinchuriki
Personality: Smooth and quick witted, but tainted by a taste for liquor that fuels his fighting, Ryuunosuke can seem sluggish and foolish often times, though is inner nature is much more aloof than he lets on. He is deeply routine oriented and strongly dislikes change, scheduling out his sleeping, drinking, and eating times very carefully. There are only select hours of any given days that he can be found outside of his apartment or the local bar. He's known to even work schedules for his missions to allow proper time for drinking while he works (but if all else fails, the liquor he carries on him to fight with can be splurged on to make up for it). In all he isn't terribly friendly, but he doesn't tend to bother people. As long as you don't piss him off, he'll leave you be. But if you do (usually easily done by making any kind of remark on his drinking habit) he will likely slur a wild list of burns all over your face.
Hair: A wild, shocking mass of snow white hair, spiky and askew in various directions, it mostly hangs down, longer on the sides in the front (down to about the shoulder) while in front of his face it hangs down just past his eyes, and in the back its about equal length. His chin is a bit scraggly with lack of shaving too, but only stray hairs and such; no beard or anything.
Eyes: A cool, medium dark shade of gray, like stone, speckled with black and darker gray shades, giving it a glossy speckled marble effect. They're very relaxed and laid back, rarely visible through his locks of hair. They rarely look concerned, nor even aware of whats going on, which leads many to underestimate his actual awareness.
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 135 lbs
Clothes: A white robe, similar to the upper robe worn by many monks (across the torso, leaving one arm exposed, covering the rest of the body). The pants are loose fitting but hidden beneath a layer of fabric that hangs in the front and back, reaching down to about his ankles. On the top of his robe, a silky, golden fabric with an intricate design of white flowers is wrapped around his waist, then over his robed shoulder, and tucked back in. A long cord is wrapped around his exposed shoulder, going under his robed one, and loops over a number of times in the back, each with a small gourd used to carry liquor attached to it, tied around the gourd's center. The loops can be easily undone, so that the length of it can be modified as needed.

Biography
Family History: Born into a noble family of Kumo, it took not much longer than a few months into the academy for his parents and other relatives to notice that Ryuunosuke wasn't quite...family material. He was alienated because of his detached ideals and lack of concern for nobility, which, for a noble family, is everything. He doesn't associate with them, nor has he in many years. So, not a lot of point in going into that.
Character History: Brought up with some emotional distance between himself and his family, but raised well in general, Ryuunosuke uses his natural talent for Drunken Master as an excuse to drown himself in drinking. He isn't really depressed or anything, its just...more interesting than not being drunk. Needless to say, while respected as a fighter, not a whole lot of people put merit into what he says, though he's generally easy to get along with as long as you don't call him a drunk. He's sensitive about it, because he knows its true. =3
Combat Information
Chakra Affinity: Proficient in all, but majors in Electricity based techniques.
Weapons: Gourds of liquor, attached to a long cord, looped over in various places, that Ryuunosuke carries over his shoulder. There are five in total, one for each element of Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, and then a final one that is a mixture of the other four. They're used as supplements to his elemental jutsu; while lightning type moves are his own specialty that he tend to not use liquor for.
Extra Items: The cord on his gourds is often applied to techniques. Otherwise, he does carry a small handful of senbon needles, which he uses both for combat as well as eating bar snacks.
Scrolls:
Kekkei Genkai
Multi-Colored Chakra - Not honestly a Kekkei Genkai, but a rare genetic defect that is caused by unbalance in the chakra gate system within a child's body. It leads to various types and levels of chakra being funneled through the body, making it very difficult to focus and control; this however also leads to great potential, as the user essentially has a massive store of chakra readily available that can be utilized in a wide variety of ways. Difficult to master, but well worth it in the end.
The Drunken Master - A Kekkei Genkai passed down through a number of families that is often overlooked when not utilized by many members (we're not all drunks after all). Though lineage can be traced back to the original school of the art, there are many users now from around the world that pop up. It is a bit rare to see one who can fully utilize it, but even in a novice's hands, its strength is deadly.
As the user consumes more alcohol, their strength, speed, and reflexes increase, and their predictability decreases drastically. Fluid, but seemingly wild movements lead to awkwardly placed punches and kicks that are hard to dodge or even block because of their unorthodox methods. The style utilizes swaying and rolling movements as the user moves, making their movements both swift and strange looking. The style is also known for utilizing an variety of throws and grapples but working their bodies against the enemy in awkward positions and striking their weak points, such as joints.
The style is also known for many feints and misleading movements, such as tumbles and false steps, to lure enemies into striking into what they believe is an opening. At times, even falling over completely and laying prone is common, luring enemies into a trap. The style is very acrobatic and requires a great deal of balance and strength, hence why it is so rare for real masters to appear within it.
Weapon wise, many users make use of nearby objects, and in particular containers from which the alcohol had been consumed (in Ryuunosuke's case, his many gourds). Using them in his movements, he can find easy openings by tricking the enemies with false steps, then striking viciously with the gourds head on, or even wrapping the cord that attaches them around a person and pulling them into a devastating attack.
Standard Jutsu
Replication Technique
Ninjutsu
~ The ninja creates a replica of themselves. The replica disappears on contact but can be useful in causing distractions or setting up complex attack maneuvers.
Replacement Technique
Ninjutsu
~Changes the ninja's position with a nearby in-animate object. Usually a section of log. Higher skilled people can exchange themselves with another person or other such things. Useful for dodging techniques.
Immitation Technique
Genjutsu
~The ninja creates the illusion that they are another person or object. Can be dispelled by the Kai technique.
Kai - Release
Genjutsu
~A simple technique that allows the user to break enemy genjutsu by focusing their chakra to disturb the other's flow. Can only be performed on jutsu within reasonable range of the user's skill.
Escape Technique
Ninjutsu
~A very simple technique that allows the user to escape from ropes or bindings.
Body Flicker
Ninjutsu/Taijutsu
~A simple but effective technique that can become far more useful as the user masters it, a spurt of chakra is used to make the user speed off with extreme speed, often masked with nearby leaves, sand, or etc. A real master can use it with little need for a cover, simply vanishing in a blur.
Drunken Master Taijutsu[/u]
The Eight Drunken Immortals
-The eight forms that make up the Drunken Master style-
Lu Don Bin
Taijutsu
~The most basic and commonly used style, it utilizes swaying the body back and forth to fool the enemy into thinking one has lost focus and balance, then striking when their guard is dropped. Also very versatile in utilizing the gourds, and a unique attack with the hands, using them in an open grip like a claw, for blocking and reversing attacks. The style is also known, as its creator was, for being skilled with utilizing other weapons, such as swords. In legend, Bin held a mythical dragon sword that could make him invisible; the quick and difficult to predict movements of his style are said to pay tribute to this.
Li Tit Kwai
Taijutsu
~ Since Li had only the use of one leg, he fought by feigning weakness to lure the enemy to attack recklessly, and retaliating when least expected. The Li Form reflects these characteristics, and incorporates a number of postures such as lying on the ground or standing on one leg to feign weakness, and utilizing trips and sweeps, or even kicks from handstand positions to send the opponent toppling.
Han Zhong Li
Taijutsu
~ Han Zhong Li had great strength, and was physically the strongest of the Eight Drunken Immortals. He carried a cauldron of wine in paintings. The Han Form reflects these characteristics, and focuses on using momentum and circular motions to knock your opponent over. Wide movements when attacking, sudden rush-tackles, and rolling crushes, are key moves, as well as heavy drop kicks and stomping on fallen opponents.
Lan Cai He
Taijutsu
~ Lan's Form draws inspiration from her incredible speed, rolling hips and effeminate gestures to use fast choking techniques, elbow and kneeing combinations to hit at close range. Swift, unpredictable, and utterly brutal in close combat, it is a style often overlooked for its effeminate nature, but considered an extremely powerful style by those who understand it.
Zhang Guo Lao
Taijutsu
~Another extremely swift style that utilizes quick, shuffling footwork to rush an opponent, and offers the most intricate and advanced kicking techniques, working from awkward angles, and supplying flurries of unstoppable foot combos. Lao was fabled to be able to ride the wind to any destination, and the speedy movement of the style pays tribute to his mystical ability to travel as though flying.
Cao Guo Jiu
Taijutsu
~A style known for its use of pressure points and joint manipulation after catching an off guard opponent in its grasp. The least explosively strong of the style, but certainly not the weakest in the proper situation. Capable of whittling a powerful opponent down to their knees in no time, an indirect method of combat can often be more suited in the correct situations.
Han Xiang Zi
Taijutsu
~ A style that utilizes the curious hand positioning as though one were holding a flute to their mouth, to match the flute carrying warrior the style is based upon. This style makes use of swift, powerful tackles, jamming the well placed hands into the throat and face of the enemy. The quick, violent motions are meant to startle and confuse, then critically injure, blocking the opponent's ability to counter attack.
He Xian Gu
Taijutsu
~ In the He Form, one mimics the feminine gestures of its creator to taunt your enemy and mask attacks. One can generate angular deflection force from the rolling of the waist and body to deal with attacks. The style also utilizes a unique punching form that builds strength in the twist of the wrist, for very powerful attacks at a short range, often similar to the Wing Chun punch that uses vertical hand placement, pooling power from the elbow and the rest of the body behind it, working off of the center of one's form.
Spitfire - The Dragon's Blood[/u]
-Ryuunosuke's fire elemental liquor-
Dragon's Flare
Ninjutsu
~Taking a good swig of the liquor, Ryuunosuke is able to spew a massive wave of fire in front of him, devastating the area. Its general power is weakened because of its large range, but it is still quite strong and difficult to escape; the strength and range can be increased with more liquor and chakra output, but the typical size and power behind it is fairly standardized, and he won't add to it unless he feels he really needs to level a forest or two.
Dragon's Claw
Ninjutsu
~Spreading the chakra out before spewing the flames (basically as he would for the Dragon's Flare) Ryuunosuke puts his hand to his mouth, spewing the flames and using the gaps between fingers to guide them. The result is a four way jet of fire, smaller than the typical flare, but capable of striking multiple enemies with less general destruction, and also giving him more spread range, in case enemies attempt to try and avoid by jumping to either side.
Dragon's Rage
Ninjutsu/Taijutsu
~After using the Dragon's Claw technique, Ryuunosuke can break off the fire flow, swiftly closing his hand and causing the lot of it to burst into a wall in front of him, which can be useful for shielding. Its true potential lies in fighting however, as Ryuunosuke can pass through the flames and charge forward, delivering a devastating series of attacks supplemented by the flames coating his body, making his attacks stronger as well as more difficult to foresee due to the veil of fire. It also tends to scare the holy shit out of people.
Shipwreck - The Kraken's Blood[/u]
-Ryuunosuke's water elemental liquor-
Kraken's Shotgun
Ninjutsu
~Consuming some of the liquor, Ryuunosuke is able to fire a short range burst of water in front of him, capable of strong defense or a shorter range attack, mostly the former.
Kraken's Pineapple
Ninjutsu
~Firing a dense ball of water into the air above, it detonates within a few seconds based on the way the chakra is fused within it. When the ball bursts, a violent rain pelts down on the area with large, harsh bullets of water that can not only cause surface damage to the enemy, but can completely cut off their senses for a time being, thanks to the cover of the rain (god forbid one of those things hit you in the eye) as well as the noise caused by its fall.
Kraken's Landmine
Ninjutsu
~Firing a long, powerful stream of water into the ground in front of him, Ryuunosuke can cause it to build up and can manipulate its placement to some degree (though usually he sets this up ahead of time, so the mine is close to where it was burrowed). After a few moments (the time can be controlled to some degree as well, but after a while, nature takes hold) the pressure becomes too extreme and it burst out, creating a violent geyser. For anyone caught on or even quite close to it at that time, it sucks to be you.
Highwind - The Griffin's Blood[/u]
-Ryuunosuke's wind elemental liquor-
Griffin's Earth
Ninjutsu
~Spewing an orb of wind out in front of him that can be balanced on, Ryuunosuke can ride it, or simply burst it to give him a burst of speed in whatever direction he deems necessary. Useful for preparing other ninjutsu techniques, but also for moving rapidly at a foe for taijutsu based attacks. The orb itself could possibly hit something and do some damage, but its rather rare to be used like this.
Griffin's Heaven
Ninjutsu
~From the air, Ryuunosuke can fire a massive shock wave of wind chakra down below, spread out over a large area for massive destruction. This is one of his largest attacks, requiring a good deal of chakra and liquor to be consumed. The higher up from whence it is used, the large the range and the lesser the strength it has at any specific point. Using at short range would be utterly devastating, but because of its requirements, it usually takes too long to try and use that way, unless the enemy is already incapacitated.
Griffin's Hell
Ninjutsu
~From the ground, Ryuunosuke cups his hands into a circle around his mouth, shooting the burst of wind similar to the Griffin's Heaven, but towards the ground. Magnified, it slams into the earth, then arcs forward on impact, creating a wall of fast moving debris, coupled with a low shock wave of chakra that can and will eff your legs up.
Avalanche - The Golem's Blood[/u]
-Ryuunosuke's earth elemental liquor-
Golem's Spring
Ninjutsu
~Consuming some of the liquor, Ryuunosuke spits a large quantity of tiny rock shards into the air that spread quickly into the wind. They glimmer, and seem to have the shape of small flowers, which belie their dangerous nature. Spreading into the airs and lungs of nearby victims, they can cause numerous small wounds in the throat and weaker flesh of the body, causing high amounts of irritation and distraction, up to even momentary blindness. A dangerous technique however, if one isn't careful to keep themselves out of their own mess.
Golem's Summer
Ninjutsu
~After taking in some of the liquor, Ryuunosuke can produce a large amount of sharp, black rocks from his mouth, which react quickly with sunlight, heating up to a high degree and becoming incredibly hot and sticky, making it capable to both burn and ensnare an opponent to a reasonable degree. If gotten directly on the person's skin, the damage can become very severe to that area, and also difficult to get removed without damaging the skin.
Golem's Fall
Ninjutsu/Taijutsu
~Ryuunosuke's body becomes heavy and dense, hardened as though it had become more like rock itself. The weight that it causes him to gain makes him slow, so it would typically serve a more defensive purpose, but often times its used in combination with the classic Drunken Master technique of feigned falling, where his dense and heavy body topples to the ground of his own accord, sending a seismic shock wave through the ground that causes large tremors and upheavals of rock. A bit slow, but a strange and highly destructive technique that often catches enemies off guard.
Electric Element Jutsu[/u]
The only element Ryuunosuke doesn't carry a gourd for, electricity is the element he has the highest natural affinity for. He claims that the tastes of his liquors are affected by the affinity of the drinker, and that if he got into electric elemental stuff, he'd probably drink it all before he could make any use of it. So, he uses only natural techniques instead of supplemented ones. It should be noted, however, that his last gourd, which contains a mixture of all the previous liquors does contain an amount of electric material in it, only for the sake of making the drink as effective as it needs to be.
Kirin's Snap
Ninjutsu/Taijutsu
~A technique that utilizes trace amounts of electricity around the body and his gourds, it can serve offensive and defensive purposes by warding off attackers by shocking/numbing them when they come too close, or by supplementing his own attacks to add additional damage and body numbing ability to them. Most commonly used along the gourds and the cord that link them, to make a sort of electric flail that can prove extremely dangerous to foes.
Kirin's Crackle
Ninjutsu
~Storing chakra and dispelling it from his mouth, a crackling wave of electricity slowly shoots from his mouth, typically with rather short range but building over the time its sustained. The sound of it can become extremely loud, giving it a secondary distraction ability, often making people cover their ears. Even at its height, the range of it can't compare to most other elements, due to the intangible nature of the bolts. It tends to spread out, similar to the way Ryuunosuke's Dragon's Claw technique does, instead of coming out in straight bolts.
Kirin's Pop
Ninjutsu
~Throwing his gourd's down into the ground, and using his chakra to manipulate their trail, he can spread them out below the surface in a straight chain below, and build electricity around them carefully, making a chain-land mine that when activated on his mark, causing a series of lightning bolts to erupt upon the enemy. The range of the technique is limited to the range of the cord on his gourds, which while notable, isn't terribly far; he can lengthen it with some planning however. The number of bolts are limited as well, obviously, to the number of gourd's used in the technique.
Master of Illusion - The Gobi's Blood[/u]
-Ryuunosuke's liquor formed from the mixture of all elements-
Master of Illusion
Genjutsu
~After consuming the final liquor, a mixture of all the other elemental liquors, Ryuunosuke's body becomes host to a large supply and variety of chakra, eventually merging together into a extremely potent chakra that can only be expelled in the form of genjutsu, and is named for the infamous Gobijuu, known for its ability to use all elements proficiently, as well as being the God of Illusion. The genjutsu overloads the enemies mind with a variety of painful illusions related to the use of each element (burns, drowning, etc.) while masking their vision in darkness with its overtly suppressing level of power. The effect of this is intense on both the enemy and the user, and meant as a make or break technique, leaving Ryuunosuke exhausted and low on chakra.
