Ware found himself deep below the village, having had to carefully incapacitate a handful of guards and seals along the way. It was certainly too suspicious at this point. Something big was down here, and it had taken him quite a bit of time to find it. But he could feel that he was getting close. Something in the pit of his stomach told him so...
Carefully, he hid himself away, working through the tunnels and corridors until he came across the center chamber, deep below what he could estimate was the Kage Manor. Keeping to the shadows he entered, letting his eyes scan his surroundings in an instant. It took some effort not to speak at what he saw...
That weapon...The demon known as Gedo Mazo. So she had been telling the truth...
Damn. I need to get back to Takeshi... What they would do from there, he wasn't sure, but if the lady Hokage truly intended to use this for war, she would have to be stopped.

"Hyuuga Ware." Ayako's voice echoed from the only entrance to the chamber where she stood, eye's trained on the man with unusual intensity. The small lantern dangling from her hand cast harsh shadows over the area, making the already sinister energy of the room seem to grow tenfold. A small, misleading smile formed on her lips as she took a step toward him. "Tripping alarms and turning on comrades; what could Shishi possibly be doing wandering around like a lost lamb...?"

Tch. Not careful enough...I should've figured.
Ware shrugged and shook his head, grinning just slightly as he took a small step forward, feigning innocence.
"You know, for the life of me, I can just never remember how to find the bathroom in this place. They really should put up signs or something. Sucks getting lost all the time."
Obviously he was aware that she wasn't going to buy this, but he would need what time he could get to plan things out. Had she gotten any backup, or raised more seals? He hadn't noticed anything, but obviously she had been waiting for him...

"You've been looking for that bathroom for the past week or so, haven't you? In the archives, the old parts of the village, the dungeons....? Quite a forgetful, bothersome little lamb you've turned out to be." She cocked her head to the side, watching his movements. Slowly, her smile faded, posture changing to something more intent, cocky, seeming to just beg for an attack of some sort. "What is it that you're looking for, Ware? Poking your nose around on ungrounded suspicions... that's treason."

"Oh? My definitions must be rusty...Harboring criminals, forging death certificates for them, and stashing away stolen weapons to start a war. Sounds more like treason to me." He grinned, his clear eyes locked on her with fearless fire. Kage or not, he was defiant to the last, and had no intention to back down. If anything, it was an exciting prospect to face such a person.
Not that he was going to be stupid enough to put an all or nothing bet on sticking it out.

Her head tilted to the side, voice sounding exasperated.
"You always were a troublesome one." She sighed, and with that the little standoff had concluded. Her arm jolted forward, heaving the lantern out and into the boy's face with impeccable speed; she was already following up before the fire made contact with him, a trap wire scroll flying out of her sleeve.
Shit was about to get real, yo.

Damn, fast!
Ware felt the heat coming towards his face, seeing her move with impeccable skill. She didn't plan to make it easy obviously, but then again, neither did he. He leapt away as quickly as he could, pushing himself using chakra focused at his feet. The best way he could stop those wires would be with an all out defense. He wouldn't be able to attack her without a real opening...
As he moved, his chakra building rapidly in raw power, he twisted, using the Hyuuga Style Rotation, melding its shape into a wild, spiked mane looking to distance them and sever the wires, hopefully giving him room to put ground between them.

His plan worked for the most part; Aya still stood in the arch of the entrance way, watching him with an amused smirk. She didn't have to move. After all, she was prepared for this. The floor underneath Ware's feet lit up, the circular seal there activated by his presence and detonating into a mild explosion; there were dozens more in the room, just awaiting his trespass.
"You've been snooping for quite awhile now, Ware. You didn't think I'd be ready for you when you finally weaseled your way down here?"
She made a hand seal, all the floor seals around him lighting up and then detonating in unison. Oh, she was just playing with him now. =P

Ware lunged away with another chakra boosted jump, his body slowing in its rotation, focusing his chakra into a more controlled area as he moved through the explosive seals, striking out in front of him as he passed, expelling the flames with a force of wind and chakra shaped into a massive clawed paw around each of his arms.
"Gentle Step: Battering Lion's Paw!"
Quickly he closed the distance, mowing the flames down before lashing out with a twin palm thrust at the woman, the two chakra paws slamming into her with a roar of force.
I need to clear that entrance, or find another way out. Tch...

The clone disappeared in a puff of smoke as the floor underneath them lit up in a larger seal that would seal him there for the split second needed to...
WHAM
The large scroll made heavy contact with the man's head and sending him flying from the room and right into the wall of the tunnel outside. She landed primly, scroll swinging back around, unraveling.
"You don't belong here. I'll give you a ten second head start before I kill you." =D

She could be as smug as she wanted, but it would take more than a sound hit to topple Ware. He recovered with a quickness against the outside wall, lunging off of it and moving hastily back down the corridors and hallways that had lead him here, carefully watching everything with his Byakugan. She'd find out soon enough that she had him underestimated. He just needed to find Takeshi to level the playing field...

Aya ticked the seconds off with taps of her foot, smirking as she listened to his fading footfalls. She knew better than to underestimate the boy as he thought she did; it just seemed unfair to let what had been a loyal servant die without even a fighting chance. Of course, he was a traitor, so it had to be done. How sad.
"Time's up." She set Jinchi firmly on it's end, a small scroll flying from her sleeve into her hand as she took off after the man, surprisingly speedy without the large scroll.

Ware just continued to run at top speed, easily having memorized the layout, using his eyes to scan for any incoming guards, traps, things of that nature. No doubt she would catch up in due time; she was Hokage for a reason, and he couldn't hope to simply outrun her.
But he had a plan, of course. Hopefully it would work...once he was outside, things would become a great deal easier.

The air in the passageway suddenly seemed to be sucked away, fed to a growing roar behind him. Flames shot around the latest corner, blasting down the tunnel at his back. If she couldn't catch him, she'd fry him. >=D

Ware ran as fast as he could, using chakra focused to his feet to boost his speed and precision. He could only outrun the attack for so long though, and knew he had to make an escape. Using his eyes, he carefully plotted a suitable location in the ceiling where he could easily break out. With a leap of faith, he struck through the roof, bursting out into the open air, then propelling himself away as flames fired upwards from the opening like an exploding volcano.
Its a little further to where I was going to meet Takeshi. I just have to keep moving. He leapt down into the streets, bouncing between and over buildings, using the crowds to try and cover his path as he moved, easily able to judge openings thanks to his Byakugan. Unfortunately, the crowds could become a two edged sword for him; if their cover prevented an all out attack, their escape would be more likely, but if she called the other shinobi to arms against him and Takeshi, things could become much more complicated...
