The dungeon was mostly quiet, save for occasional footsteps against the stone floor, and the random grumblings of those being held as their captors passed by. As Ware passed through, more than a few people stared at him in anger and fear, having been brought to confinement by him at some point or another. If anywhere, this was certainly the place he disliked most. Not a sense of humor anywhere in the lot of them. =P
He rounded a corner, flicking through some keys and unlocking one of the various cells, this one more secure than many of the others. Once inside, he shut the door once more, locking it again before facing off with the shackled kunoichi.
"I brought donuts." He said flatly, holding up a to-go box of jelly filled and powdered delights.

Kara stirred slightly, looking up at him with pissed off eyes. She could only grumble in response due to the gag fastened tightly in her mouth; if it weren't for that, she'd have already bitten off the end of her tongue and killed this bastard with the ensuing blood. It had already been several, uncountable days since she'd woken up here, and she still hadn't the slightest as to what it was they wanted.
"Mn." She struggled slightly against the bondage holding back, eyes narrowing at him and his damned donuts.

"You don't look like you want any. What are you, a commie?" Ware frowned at her, waving the box around in front of her. "I'll let you take the gag out if you wanna' eat some. But if you bite your tongue, I'm gonna have to give you another heart attack. You're too young for that shit, yeah?"
He shook the box the way one might shake keys in front of a baby, trying to get their attention.

Her eyes narrowed a fraction more and she looked away in defeat. They hadn't fed her for awhile now.... this was probably part of their plan; she wouldn't give in like that. She could survive without it. =P
"Mn-nn." she shook her head the tiny bit she could, looking away from the confections and the snide face just behind them.

"You're pretty easy to read, even without these eyes you know. No one told me to come feed you. Frankly, you're nothing more than bait at this point. Anything they wanted to extract, they could've by now. So, just eat, eh?"
He popped the box open, taking a seat on the stone floor and biting into one of the jelly filled donuts. Not bad at all~

She squirmed again, straining against the restraints. This was the worst. He was the worst. What an ass. She couldn't stand being used and taunted like this; it was almost worth the risk of trying to kill him again just to shut his ass up.

Ware narrowed his eyes, staring her down with blatant distaste. "Quit being hard headed. I wouldn't have bothered if I didn't have a good reason. There's something suspicious about all this."
He leaned back, finishing off his donut idly, and visibly irritated.

Slowly, she turned her eyes back to him, big green pools of intense hatred staring at him intently, questioning his words where her mouth could not.

Ware reached out with a quickness, whacking the girl across the head with the box of donuts. Promptly, he opened it again to get another, and to make sure they hadn't taken too much damage.
"Don't look at me like that. =P " He bit into another jelly one, wiping a bit of the purple jam from his mouth with his thumb. "This attack on Suna...it seems like it goes beyond the deaths of the elder council. And there have been some strange people around..." He frowned, taking another bite. The Hokage may not have considered it, but Ware wasn't so dense and blind with loyalty. He could see things that were out of place...
"Something isn't adding up quite right, and someone's not telling the whole story."

Well, she certainly wouldn't be telling anyone anything anytime soon with this gag shoved down her throat and his battering behavior. >=C
She still stared at him, teeth grit on the gag as she struggled even more for a few more moments; gawd, she wanted to break his face already. Eventually she calmed down, looking at him with an incredulous look. Of course he didn't know what was going on, but why the hell would he confront her about it?

She was the one being a biznatch and making him keep the gag in. =P
He stared back at her for a moment, pondering, before finally he leaned forward, reaching out and pulling the gag out, letting it fall down and hang around her neck.
"So, what do ya' know?"

She stared at him silently, licking her dried lips with a contemplative look. She could always risk drawing blood and cutting his eyes out....
"....I'm hungry." she finally stated dryly, eying the donuts in his lap.

Ware grinned. "I figured. I hope you're a good catch." He picked up a donut, carefully aiming it and giving her a moment to get ready, before easily tossing it to her mouth. If she didn't catch it, it was her own fault.
"I've got some water too." He noted, picking a small bottle out from his tool pouch.

She skillfully caught the food with her teeth, gagging for a moment from the strain of the restraints on her throat.
"Nnh." Eating with no hands couldn't be ladylike in the slightest. =P

Ware gave her a moment to scarf at the donut before he finally stood up, moving over and pulling the bulk away and letting her chew, then readying the water bottle to pour into her mouth.
"Say ah." He joked, pouring the water carefully for a moment, stopping when it seemed enough.
