She cracked her knuckles shortly before the blades along her arms grew out a bit more.
"Okay, I'm warmed up now." She spun back, wheeling her arms around flourishingly and sending several small bullet-like projectiles of the excess blood at the man. The pellets exploded into a fine mist upon contact, and Kara burst through with a swift windmill kick, attempting to take advantage of the split second of stun from the sudden screen of blood and chakra. Another dance~

Ware grinned, skipping back to try and avoid her kick, following her own momentum to smoothly roll around her attack. He spun rapidly again, this time his chakra more concentrated, the burst of energy around him refined into a swirling lion around him, similar to his previous attacks. He was just about to move into strike again when...
Shit!
An eruption of wind and flames overtook them, tearing the terrain apart and hurling the pair of shinobi into the air. He intensified his rotation, defending himself to the best of his ability as they fumbled through the air before hitting the ground again and skidding through the debris. Ware was barely able to maintain his bearing, glaring through the dust and debris that had grown thick enough to nearly hinder even his eyesight.
"What the fuck kind of attack was that!?" He growled, recovering his breath, still a bit shaken. The massive amount of chakra emanating from that sand creature practically blinding. If the Hokage had been hit by that...
He'd just have to hope for the best, and get this finished up while he still could...

Blood oozed to the ground, slipping off of Kara's body from the shield she'd managed to generate around herself died down, leaving the girl hacking her lungs up onto the ground from the dust and dirt that had shoved itself down her throat. Her jacket was gone now, a smoldering mess on the ground by a nicely burned leg and exposing scraped shoulders, but other than that she was alive. Not very happy to be, but alive.
"Shit, sensei, you know we're still here, what the fuck's wrong with you...?" She muttered to herself, wiping her eyes of the dirt that was making them water as she stumbled unsteadily to her feet. She probably wouldn't have survived that if she hadn't seen the Hyuuga guy protect himself and just mimic it the best she could with her own abilities. Obviously, from the newest injuries she'd sustained, her defenses were thrown up a bit too late; really, who would expect some shit like that??
The wind kicked up around her with a simple handseal, dispelling the dust and debris around her as she readied her free arm for any sort of attack. While she wasn't completely ready for combat, she could only assume her opponent was, and a little bit of visibility would be nice since she could hardly see or hear for shit as it was.
"Goddamn..."

"Guess he underestimated your ability to take care of yourself." Ware declared, grinning as he whipped through the dust behind the girl, having been able to catch sight of her rather easily, while she seemed to still struggled with the debris. Her attempt to mimic him hadn't been bad, but obviously she had fallen short.
"Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fist!" His feet skidded, spinning his body about for momentum before he struck at the woman's back with both hands, a flurry of chakra wrapping around his arms before lashing out in a pair of wild lion faces. His hands moved rapidly, striking several times in a graceful, silent form.

A small squeak escaped the girl's lips as she was sent flying forward; her body hit the ground, exploding into a rain of blood. A swift foot made solid contact with the man's head, a heel taking his knees out from under him, causing him to do some sort of weird flip. Kara landed on her hands, pushing off backward to drive both her feet into his chest, pushing off in a midair kick that sent him flying into a pile of rubble.
She landed lithely, smiling faintly through the blood-scale armor that was slowly creeping its way off her face.
"Sensei doesn't underestimate me. You seem to though." Anyone who knew her wouldn't have fallen for such a bullshit weak girl act. Not from Karasu Ketsueki~ "Keep you eyes on me; this dance will be the finale~"
She slid back into an artfully low stance, bringing both arms out and down with a delicate, graceful gesture before there was an explosion of energy from her; the blades running along the insides of her forearms and down and out of her palms turned a sleek black color. The color crept along her arms in blocky, long strips, following the inside curve up to her neck, up to underneath her eyes.
"The Black Blood tango~?" She sang, cocking her head and raising one darkened hand out to the man.
And then she was right next to him as well, an afterimage of residual chakra still gracefully offering her hand as a bladed foot swiped him across the shoulder, the sheer aftershock of the blow sending the body spiraling; an oddly profuse amount of blood streamed from the wound, arching after him.

Ware's body spun around rapidly from the force of the attack, but there came a sudden movement at the woman's side once more, a form latching itself onto her arm with a swift palm strike. The physical force in it seemed to have been restrained highly, having almost not push to it whatsoever. Instead, there was a brief moment of silence before a sudden burst of chakra had passed through them, running its way through the woman's body before slamming into her heart, causing it to skip and lock up for a brief moment, shutting her body down.
Ware regained himself, retaking his balance and turning back to the girl, a tired smirk stuck to his face. He couldn't deny the force of her attack, that was for certain, but she had been too quick to expose herself. The shadow clone that had been holding her arm let go, letting her drop to the ground.
"I never underestimated your skill; didn't need to. Your cockiness had already been perfectly gauged." He retorted, rubbing his bleeding shoulder as he walked over to her, taking a seat on a chunk of debris and shaking his head at her.
"I knew that you'd be on guard and try to fake me out; but I came out regardless. If I'd sent the clone, you wouldn't have bothered with the follow up attack, and I needed to see it to make sure my plan would work." He cleared his throat, reaching into his pouch and pulling out a water bottle that had magically not been destroyed in combat.
Damn my shoulder stings...crazy chick.
He took a swig before continuing. "Anyway, your Kekkei Genkai is pretty unique, using your bloodstream as an additional chakra pathway, giving you a lot more chakra points than the average person, making it easier for you to recover and maintain your chakra balance. But...keeping those silly things on your arms are like attaching chakra receivers to your body. They're strong, but it provides a direct gateway into your chakra system, and your circulatory system at the same time."
He sighed, replacing the water bottle and rubbing his shoulder. It was numbing now....bitch. >.>
"Sorry for the long explanation, but I figured it'd be a good lesson for you. With enough chakra focused through your receiver blades, I was able to have my chakra follow your bloodstream and shut down most of your chakra points, as well as give you a small heart attack. Just take it easy for a while, or you'll make it worse for yourself, hm?"
He stood up, signaling his clone to hoist the girl up onto its shoulder, considering that he couldn't himself. Now they just needed to meet up with the others and get lost...

Kara stared hard at him, eyes wide and fidgeting as she trying to fight off the unconsciousness threatening to consume her from both the heart attack and the blood slipping out of the cuts on her arms that she no longer has any control of. She couldn't move any, and just attempting hurt like hell, but she was trying her damndest anyway.
"I-I h-hope..... that you b-bleed out from that... you little sh-shit...." she managed to stutter through grit teeth, eyes passing over his wound for a moment before rolling back into her head as she let the sleep take her over. She could do so with a clear conscious, taking comfort in the thought that the man would probably have to take blood transfusions several times a day for the next few months to make up for the injury he'd sustained at the hands of her Black Blood technique; infusing cells of her own blood to the wound at the cellular level as she had with the attack would keep it from healing and keep him in an anemia-like state for at least a week. She could live with that. They couldn't hold her forever.
Sorry I couldn't help more, Sensei. Guess I still have a ways to go before I live up to your expectations. Gawd, I don't even get to say 'bye'. And I never did find Abe. Just a big day of fail, huh? Sorry, guys...
